Summer solstice ring by loopy-dloupe Summer solstice ring by loopy-dloupe
I made this ring over 3 days spanning the summer solstice (southern hemisphere, so 21 December is it!). Midway through the making it struck me that the design is very much exactly that - the full summer sun, harvest home.

I think the stone is a brown Zircon, a natural stone (not synthetic cubic Zirconia, a completely different thing). I'd welcome confirmation on that, or do suggestions of what stone it could be?

It's sterling silver with 9ct yellow gold detail.
